The Raritan Inn is situated on 24 pristine rural acres, which include a quiet millrace that flows into the tree-lined South Branch of the Raritan River. We invite you to sit, linger, and reflect by the millrace, dangling your feet in the inviting water. Watch a patient fly fisherman expertly cast his lure or simply take in the view.
The open back fields are lush with greenery - in fact, they supply twice a year cuttings and baling of hay. Enjoy a quick game of horseshoes or badminton in the field behind our barn. Our fields are perfect for your next gathering - providing a natural space to mingle and play.
Guests can wander the field perimeter to see nesting bluebirds or a host of resident and migrating birds. Abundant forest species and wildflowers are managed for seasonal enjoyment of guests.
Be sure to take advantage of the vibrant grounds on your next visit to the Raritan Inn!

What a beautiful place! Our stay was perfect. Bill loved the fishing and I enjoyed the Columbia Trail hike. We look forward to our return."

Wildlife is abundant along the river, including mink, beaver, deer, coyotes, and the rare visit of a black bear.
